IDC Hosting
Weiyunteng provides IDC colocation and server rental across several Chinese provinces, for systems needing dedicated resources and static IPs — billed per cabinet or per U, bandwidth and protection on demand.
Servers in a room that stays up when the cooling fails
Built for e-commerce, SaaS, gaming and always-on systems. A self-built server room fails on power and heat; dual mains, UPS plus generator and 24/7 on-site duty mean incidents are handled as they happen.
What we deliver
- Cabinet and full-rack colocation: 1U to a full rack, power, bandwidth and IPs included.
- Server rental: sized to peak load, no procurement cycle, racked within the week.
- Bandwidth and BGP: multi-line BGP egress, billed by bandwidth or 95th percentile.
- 24/7 operations: reboots, disk swaps, OS reinstallation, traffic alerts.
- Snapshots: daily system-disk snapshots kept seven days, restorable quickly.

Colocation specifications (reference ranges; quotation on request)
| Specification | Space | Power | Bandwidth | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Entry | 1U | ≤0.5A | 10M dedicated | Sites, small backends |
| Standard | 1/4 rack | ≤4A | 30M dedicated | E-commerce, SaaS |
| Full rack | 42U | ≤16A | From 100M | High-concurrency clusters |
How we work
- Assessment (1 working day): power, bandwidth and rack units from peak load.
- Proposal (1 working day): cabinet location, IP block and billing basis in writing.
- Racking (1–3 working days): help with racking, cabling and initialisation.
- Operations (ongoing): monitoring and ticket channel, 24/7 duty.
When this fits
① Office servers that shut down from heat when the breaker trips; ② temporary compute for a peak campaign; ③ physical machines or GPUs that cloud pricing cannot absorb.
IDC hosting: common questions
Q: Can we move existing servers in?
A: Yes. We inventory assets and dependencies, then migrate database, application and frontend in stages; switch windows are usually overnight.
Q: Who handles hardware failures?
A: We chase the vendor for whole-unit repairs and keep consumables such as disks on site; system-level issues sit with your ops team or with us under an agreement in the contract.
Q: What if we exceed our bandwidth?
A: The proposal states billing by peak or 95th percentile; overage settles at the agreed unit price and abnormal traffic alerts in advance.
To cost out moving your systems into a data center, speak to a consultant.
Q: Colocation or cloud?
A: Colocation for dedicated resources, static IPs and controllable compliance; cloud for elastic scaling without operations. Many clients combine both.
Q: What differs between provinces?
A: The network path to your visitors and local compliance. Pick a site close to your audience; cross-region access is steadier and eases disaster recovery.
Q: Can bandwidth be added later?
A: Yes. Request it ahead of a peak; bandwidth and protection adjust on demand without changing cabinets.
Q: Can we pay monthly?
A: Monthly and annual terms are both available; pricing and discounts are stated in the proposal and contract.
Q: Is bandwidth dedicated or shared?
A: Bandwidth is available dedicated or shared; dedicated specifications and pricing are set out in the proposal.
Q: Can we colocate our own servers?
A: Yes — bring your own equipment; we rack it with power, cooling and network ports included.
Q: How fast do you respond to faults?
A: Monitoring and alerting run 24/7; response times and compensation terms are written into the contract.
Q: Can you issue an invoice?
A: VAT invoices are available; the invoice type and tax rate follow the policy in force at invoicing.
